Our biggest alumni reunion ever

This year’s Alumni Reunion saw the return to campus of those celebrating the 20th, 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th or 45th anniversary of their graduation. The day was a huge success - there were plenty of opportunities to reminisce with old classmates and an evening in Bath city centre re-visiting old haunts proved a popular end to the day. Look out for the full run-down and see the video of the day in our online magazine, BA2, coming soon. Photographs of the day - Ben Langdon Photography

We are currently recruiting volunteers to help with next year's reunion - if you are interested call us on +44 (0)1225 386824 or email alumni@bath.ac.uk.

Classes of 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987 and 1992: save the date!

Graduate from Wales makes waves Down Under

Although the sport of surf lifesaving originated in Australia over a century ago, their current national champion comes from the considerably cooler waters of South Wales. Stuart Snell (BEng Chemical Engineering 2003) earned his stripes in UK waters whilst a student at Bath. He was awarded a University Colour for swimming in 2000 and represented both Wales and Great Britain at international level. Coupled with academic excellence, Stuart was a worthy recipient of the Chancellor’s Prize in 2003. Read more.

Do you watch the BBC's The Apprentice?

Keep an eye out for University of Bath graduate Thomas Pellereau (MEng Innovation and Engineering Design 2002), a candidate for this year’s TV series competition to win a £250,000 investment. Tom impressed Lord Sugar early on with his no-nonsense approach in the first episode - his analysis of why the team lost in the first task was deemed by Lord Sugar as ”the most sensible thing I’ve heard all day”. We wish him all the best! Catch up on the series and watch Tom’s audition video (these videos are only available in the UK).
