of Bath Alumni RPSGB
Wednesday 19 November 2008

Alumni from the University of Bath met at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain in London for dinner.

Hosted by Bharat Shah (Pharmacy, 1971 and Managing Director of Sigma Pharmaceuticals Plc), the graduates in attendance represented hospital, community and industrial pharmacists from around the country.

The dinner was held in the newly refurbished Council Dining Room and was an opportunity for the graduates to reminisce about their time at Bath, as well as a chance to network and catch up with former and existing staff members.

BPSA President James Davies (Pharmacy, 2007) also attended to provide insight into current experiences.

The alumni were reminded about the many successes of the University and the need to keep attracting the best and brightest students, ensuring the next generation of pharmacists carry on the tradition of excellence.

A very enjoyable evening was had by all and it is hoped that a similar event will be held again next year.
