University of Bath entrepreneurs shortlisted for 9 National StartUp Awards

University of Bath nominees Aerogel, EnsiliTech, Transdermal Diagnostics, and Mechanical Engineering graduate Waleed Lattouf have all been shortlisted at the National StartUp Awards 2023 which recognises contributions of entrepreneurs and their new ventures. New spin-out company launches ultra-light, low carbon 'aerogel' insulation materials

University of Bath company Aerogel Core Ltd has spun-out with Innovate UK funding to develop the next generation materials for the aerospace and automotive industries. Calculations predict an estimated 30-90 tonne reduction in CO2 emissions per year for a 280 aircraft fleet. More on this.
