All personal information is held securely by the University and will be treated confidentially in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. Bath Connection

Bath Connection, our e-networking service for alumni and students is hosted by an external provider of online services. If you sign up for Bath Connection we will need to share your personal data with the external service provider as strictly necessary for the operation of the system. They have undertaken to comply with all necessary data protection legislation and measures. 

Use of links

Throughout our web pages, we provide links to other servers which may contain information of interest to our readers. We take no responsibility for, and exercise no control over, the organisations, views, or accuracy of the information contained on other servers.

Use of text and images

If you would like to publish information that you find on our website, please send your request to advancement@bath.ac.uk.

Accessibility

This website is designed to be accessible to visitors with disabilities, and to comply with the relevant guidelines concerning accessibility. We welcome your comments. If you have suggestions on how to make the site more accessible, please contact advancement@bath.ac.uk.

Opt-out or change your contact information

Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications through a special online form. You may choose to receive only specific communications or none at all. You may also update your contact information previously provided to us through another online form.

BA2 and e-newsletters

BA2 magazine and e-newsletters are sent to alumni and friends for whom we have up-to-date contact details. Following their publication, issues of BA2 and e-newsletters will remain available online.

BathMail

BathMail usernames and passwords are different to Bath Alumni Online usernames and passwords. We do not store passwords for users of BathMail after it has been changed from the initial activation password provided to the user. The Advancement Office will only reset a user's password if this has been requested by the user and the user's identity has been verified. The University of Bath reserves the right to remove user accounts where misuse is reported.

Cookies

Cookies are a technology which can be used to provide you with tailored information from a website; they can facilitate communication and interaction with the site. The alumni site collects HTTP cookies which are used for research and development and to track visitors to our site.
